"Best Amp for Large Applications"

I have owned many amps over the past 25 years, and this NU4-6000 is by far the best I have ever owned. Its 4 channel flexibility is what attracted me to it. I can run Mid Size Cabinets with the single channels and my Huge 4Ways in Bridge mode at 4ohms. I measured the Current through the line during an event and can confirm, it does deliver full rated power of 3,000X2 into 4 ohm. It says Amperage consumption on the unit, but that is not at full power, I know, I have tripped 30amp breakers with it and had to change to a 60amp breaker to drive it to full power.I will be buying NU-12000 next time for the 5,000 person Arena events.

"My INUKE experience"

Hello, I own 10 total Behringer Inuke amps. 2 of the 4 ch amps, 2 of the DSP amps and 6 standard INUKE amps. All of the amps are 6000 model. I use the amps, for monitors and mains. Subs and Hi's. To date I am extremely pleased with the performance and reliability of the amps. I use a DBX drive rack for eq and compresson and limiting. When the system is set up properly my INUKES are equal to anything else on the market and way beyond equal for anything in this price point. I have driven my sub amps at a 4 ohm load all day....pounding out real bass. Occasionally I have driven them at a 2 ohm load with almost equal volume. I know they are not "supposed" to be used like this, but it is the real world. Once again with correct compression, limiting and proper EQ... No problem. Happy gigs. Peace

This amp has replaced two older AB Systems amplifiers in a system used to provide sound for music synchronized fireworks displays [aka Pyro Musical]. It works very well with superb clarity and draws a very small amount of current compared to the old amps. It also is extremely light to carry compared to the old "boat anchor" amps. I highly recommend it.The only "negative" -and it really isn't a game changer is that the four speakon connectors on the back are close together and difficult to disconnect once it is mounter in an amp--mine is in the bottom so room is tight there. Behringer does recommend using a "break out" panel and hard wiring it--but that is not an option for the way I will be using it. A+++ al around!

"KILLER AMP FOR THE $$$$$"

I have been running this amp bridged both sides for subs for 2 years. Mostly in an 8ohm load but if playing larger venues 4ohms, when adding the second set of subs. fires up every time. the only thing I have noticed is the frame where it is connected to the front face has bent a little. not sure why, seeming it is so light. Still an unbelievable amp for the price!! ITS TO BAD THIS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR PAY AS YOU PLAY!!!!

I needed a good power amp to run our main speakers and compliment our inuke 6000DSP that we use for our bottom end. This amp was perfect. It is lightweight and has four seperate channels , run them in stero, mono, or bridged mode. Nice amp for the price!

4 channels for $350, enough said!!! but remind you this thing does not push the watts claimed. It is about 1/2 of it.. but use this, both sides bridges to power up subs and works great

"After receiving a bad amp, the replacement is awesome!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I received a replacement amp from zZound.com after receiving a bad amp. I made a review to explain. I had an important gig and brought back up amps just in case but I never needed them. The NU4-6000 was simply amazing. I'm running one bridged group to two 8ohm Peavey SP2's with Black Widow speakers and the other bridged group to the same speakers as monitors, both in mono with signal split after the amp to each group. This gives me 3000 watts for mains and 3000 watts for monitors. Simply amazing as we had incredible clarity and ample headroom for each. The amp never faltered and we intend to buy another amp for those larger gigs where we need more speakers. We got a years worth of monthly bookings because the club loved everything about our sound and we put on a great show thanks to the NU4-6000.
