Well, I have played several different amps ranging from fender, peavey, ashdown, and now this behringer. And hands down this baby has the best sound out of all of these. With the amp/mode/speaker selectors you can get a wide range of tonal qualities. Especially when you add in the three band eq. On top of all that you get the 24-bit processor that you can add anything from chorus to flanger to delay...., there are some really nice effects built into this baby.

Ok... for $150..... you get a 30-watt amp (which really does get loud), a built-in tuner (which works really well), a two switch footswitch, modeling, the numerous inputs and ouputs on the back of the unit, and endless effects....., THERE ISN'T AN AMP EVEN CLOSE TO THIS IN PRICE!!! Really,very impressing....

Overall, not too bad....., It did take me a couple of hours to really dial in the tone I was looking for. This might be in part to the guitar I use (which is not great, but doesn't absolutely suck). However, after you get use to how the thing works it isn't bad at all.....

Well, I haven't had this amp long.... but it really seems to be put together well....., very sturdy cabinet with reinforced corners. I can sit my fatass on it and it doesn't moan at all :>)

Hands down..... great value....., they pack a bunch of stuff in this thing...., I will be quite honest... at the price I was VERY skeptical....., I kinda thought I would be getting a second rate unit as far as sound and build...., but after reading some of the user reviews I thought... "what the heck"..., I am absolutely blown away with what I received. I definately will look at other Behringer amps in the future.

Just purchased and received my amp. Have coupled it with a Squire 51 guitar which I also just purchased. Its a good sounding, compact package. I'm primarily an acoustic guitarist/vocalist who leads praise and worship music in church but ocassionally need to drive the sound a little more. This combination should work just fine. I will use the clean channel most since I have a lead guitarist in the band. My Taylor 710 sounds great through it, though using the amp for it was an afterthought.

Its nice having the footswitch included. The only thing that could be better would be if effects could be combined but for this amount of money, this is a pretty loaded amp.

There is not much of a learning curve here. One read of the manual and we were good to go.

Construction seems to be solid and the Jensen speaker sounds good. I actually was looking at a similar amp with at 12 inch speaker so was wondering if the 10 would be rich enough sounding for my tastes. It is more than adequate. I've read a few reviews of musicians who had some problems with the amp but it seems the overall opinion is good quality. Time will tell if this is true.

I think this is as good a buy as you could expect, especially with all the features.

I own a couple of other pieces of Behringer equipment and when I've needed support, everything was in place. I assume it will be the same here.

As easy as it gets.

It is good. I used it for vocals on maximum volume for about an hour once with my band, it came through trunks of many cars, got some water in it and it still sounds great.

Great value. One of the best vintage-sounding amps with 30 watt speaker, I am not talking about its price.

I don't think I will never want to deal with it.

I play guitar as a crazy rockhead but not for too long.

With the advent of modern technology, new "sonic miracles" are happening every day. The amp does have somewhat of a tube-like presentation, and response(due to the ever increasing use of FET transistors), but my main gripe is the Jensen 1035 speaker. The amp is rated at 30 watts RMS. The speaker however is rated at 35 watts RMS @ a very odd 4 ohms, for an amp of that size. If you want more sonic flexibility buy a higher rated speaker, or use a higher rated extension cab(as use of extension jack diasbles internal speaker). One other thing that I have noticed, is that, yes, some of the tones using the 3 amp modeling 3 position switches, are a bit muddy at low volumes, but at stage levels they do cut through rather nicely.

The built in tuner ROCKS!!! Not only is it a handy feature, but it is also very accurate. Stacks up in accuracy to the low end Peterson. The built in effects are for the most part usable, some more so than others. Others need a LOT of help. Behringer are you listening??? The Rotary: Throw it away!!! I am a former Vibrotone user, and let me tell you, not even close! Back to the Drawing board.

Quality?????.........I own 2 other pieces of Behringer equipment, and all 3 of the will still be around long after I am dead. By the way, I am only 43! Enough said!

I don't think that, at this price, you can find a better sounding amp with as many features. It's perfect for at-home use, and has power to spare for other uses, too.

The included footswitch comes in handy, and the FX are a welcome addition, although they could have been of slightly better quality(IMO). All-in-all, you can achieve almost any sound your looking for with this amp with a little experimentation.

The cabinet seems super-tough, and durable enough to withstand a good beating, and the footswitch unit seems to be of good quality, too. Overall, this product seems quite able to handle its intended task, and withstand some abuse along the way.

It'd be hard to find a better value in a similiar amp with all of its included features.

Have not personally needed support as of yet.

The sound quality of this amp is much better than I expected. I thought the digital effects would funk out much quicker than they do. Actually, they hold up pretty well considering that there are 99 total effects to choose from. I love the sliding switches. They add a new dimension to the standard low-mid-high eq controls. I particularly enjoy the delays as well as the pitch shifters. They sound amazing. All in all a wonderful sounding little amp. The Jensen speaker is a huge bonus as well!

The most useful feature are the sliding switches. A definite plus.

I have no concerns with this amp breaking down. It appears to be constructed using high quality components. These days this seems to be rare indeed.

Personally speaking, I traded my terrible sounding Peavey Audition 110 and $30.00 for this unit and I have rarely struck such a good deal!

Nice for the money but lacking a distinct sound in it's indavedual functions. The effects are set pretty close together but you can't complain about the quality for the cost.

When using effect's i know every guitar player want's an effect to be clear to the ear and sound like there's actualy a effect being used. This amp is borderline. It's there but you have to work to find it and when you do the clearity could be a tad bit better.

The input jack was loose and i had to take and tighten it up to prevent the wire's from binding with time and it was a task beings that you have to reach your hand up under component wall to get to the nut. Casing itself is very durable and can take a licking by the looks of it. Over all built very well and seams like it would hold up with time.

Very affordable for what your receiving in return.

The looks aren't bad but i wouldnt take it to bed with me. Practical for the use i attended it for.

Sound is muddier and more softer sounding then a regular non-modeling amp. It is far from sounding like a good tube amp and in some ways better then a solid state, but lacks the cutting edge of a good clear tone. It's like the tone controls from radios back in the days when you had one knob to control bass/treble. It also lacks harmonics because it's lost by the modeling amp's blanket. If you want soft tone or compressed acoustic tone, this does a great job of it. If you want rock and metal with edgeness, you will be very dissappointed. There is a almost enough distortion for metal but it just doesn't cut through. If you play with the different settings, you can almost get a breaking, slightly overdrive tone but not a good one. Now the FX portion is good for some but not good for most. The best FXs are reverb and compression. Chorus is ok. Flange is ok but weak and rest are weak and some that are really just gimmiky. There is a 3 position preamp slider switch, 3 position gain preset like switch, and 3 position cabinet selector switch (aka more like a bad eq presets). The 3 eq knob's effectiveness varey alot depending on the 3 switches.

This has almost everything you can think of in an amp. Tuner, even comes with 2 button pedal, 2 channels, and memory for each, 99 FX settings and all the usual FX like reverb, chorus, delay, flange, compression, and several more. I don't like the switch being on the back of the amp, but that's a minor gripe. 3 band EQ, master volume, tons of inputs and outputs in the back for direct recording and loops, more then any amp you will every buy.

Well, it's an open back cab and the build feels fine and sturdy. I can't say much since i haven't had it long enough to confirm longevity of the internal components so to be on the nice side, i give it a 7 for now.

It has the most features you'll get for the money in a 30 watt amp. It's not 10 because value is relative to the usefullness of the amp's quality of the tone and not just features for the money.

It all depends on what you want to use it for so im giving it a neutral 5. I'll explain more below. If i had to do it again, i wouldn't buy this unit again because the tone just doesn't cut it for me.

this amp is loaded with features. I just dont see much differnce in alot of them. For example, the switches for cabinets and amps are kind of like just turning a tone knob. I bought the amp because it had effects and i thought that would save me having to buy an effects pedal, but now i'm looking for a good effects pedal.

seems to be well made. I feel you could count on it without a backup amp.

I guess it's worth the price for a decent practice amp, but don't count on high dollar effects!!

I found an e-mail address somewhere for Behringer and sent and asked some technical data. The only reply I got was that they didn't handle those questions there!!
