Features
tasteful but simple real nice binding headstock and neck but i perfer more fretboard decoration at least dots. i also perfer slight redness in rosewood it is more brown. really have always liked guitars with ebony . would rate higher except for only 1 fretboard inlay
Ease of Use
action almost perfect neck and fretboard right size for me as i dont have short fingers
Quality
looks clean of any blems real nice fit and finish nice tight grain on top. no glue residue. nice set up from loud ind. before shipment

"Best Guitar for the Money, looks, sound and setup."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
You cant buy a better guitar then this for the money. You would have to shell out 2,000 to find a better guitar, which I'm betting you woulnt be able to find one. So I'm sticking with mine.
Sound
This guitar is a finger pickers delight. Every string is distinct but just blends in with the others. Sounds like "The Mormon Tab Choir". I put on a set of D' andrea brass bridge pins on it. Your strings will sound better and sound good longer. They will pay for themseves in less then 6 months.
Features
The gold tuners look and work great, with the Ebony knobs you just cant go wrong. Has a two piece saddle, (compensated). The strings are spaced further apart then most acoustics, just very slightly more then a Silver Creek. Its just great for picking. The setup on the strings was perfect, very low with no buzz problems. Alvarez has done a great job setting up this guitar. I comes with a very nice case.
Ease of Use
Everyone buys a more exspinsive guitar because they think they wil play and sound better. If you dont sound and play better with this guitar- ITS ALL ON YOU.
Quality
Everything on this guitar is great and works great. The setup for me was fantastic. I have owned one for 3 years now and it only sounds better each day.
Value
This guitar has solid indian rosewood back and sides with a solid spruce top. Its setup is the best I have seen. In my opinion its the best MD that Alvarez has ever built.
Manufacturer Support
Dont know anything about support since the guitar has been fantastic.
The Wow Factor
This guitar is now discontinued by Alvarez. Find one o E-bay if you can. If you want to play classical guitar on an acoustic, this is the guitar to buy.
