Is it a fancy PA system? Could you actually use this to gig with a full band? Not really That being said though it works great for what it is. 4 channels, FX aren't anything to get excited but sounds better than a dry signal. Like 80 watts RMS but to use in your basement to practice and only running vocals or a keyboard/acoustic through it? Works great! I threw a cheap $99 8 channel mixer in front of it using the head as just an amp and it actually works pretty well for practice.
Sound
Sound is fine. Speakers are what they are. at lower volumes they sound decent. Biggest improvement to the sound was to use a non powered mixer in front of this with decent pre-amps. Behringer has some decent options from 80-100 that really make this a much more viable option for practice.
Features
Nice that is has FX even if they aren't great. SD card reader? Don't know what's that's in there at all. but headphone jack and other audio outs come in handy from time to time. Dual XLR-1/4 is nice.
Ease of Use
Plug and play man. Can't really screw it up.
Quality
Lower grade electronics of course but you get what you pay for. speakers and head seem to be built like bricks. The speaker cables that come with it are actually shielded which was a surprise. Other ones i've seen have the chinciest cables.
Value
Yes.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to deal with Alesis.
The Wow Factor
Would double as an okay monitor set up off a bigger system for small gigs if you needed it to.

Purchased due to price. Using to play backing for acoustic drums. Couldn't be happier! Loud enough to play over with sticks and blend right in! Great sound, awesome look! Could not believe how awesome it was when I opened and set it up!
Sound
The sound is amazing for playing backing tracks with drums. Plenty loud!
Features
Cool features with being able to hook up SD card, USB, or SD card.
Ease of Use
Simple to use, plug and play. Had it up and going while I opened other boxes. Took 5 minutes
Quality
Quality seems really good. Nice metal screens over horns and speakers. Nice corner protection. Only marked 4.5 stars on quality due to knobs seem kind of fragile, but not a deal breaker.
Value
I would say this pa system is worth every penny. For what I'm using it for its plenty plus a little. Do not set your phone on top of the app though. Inverted my colors but thats all.
Manufacturer Support
Alexis is a good company. Dealt with them before.
The Wow Factor
Everyone who sees it seems in awe. It is very nice, I put speakers on stands and it's impressive.

The speakers and mixer amp are built to withstand repeated setup and take down the MP3 player is a nice touch the amp is rated at 80 watts output but not stereo both speaker jacks are connected to the single 80 watt amp for some reason a quarter inch chrome lock washer used for the front quarter inch unbalanced line in jacks was loose inside the mixer amp I had to take apart the mixer amp and remove it I couldn’t find where it was supposed to go apparently it was a stray part but it would most definitely have shorted something out if it contacted a circuit board inside the amp the system overall is a good small venue setup for meetings a conference or the garage band

DItto- "works well for what it is". Fan is noisy. Speaker stands are rugged. Good construction. Knobs on the amp seem fragile. I like the fact that the 1/4" inputs and XLR's are separate. Mic that came with it seems like a toy. I bought Shure SM58's for mine. Heard a rattle inside the amp when it arrived and thought I better have a look before I powered it up and sure enough, there was a small washer inside floating around. Probably would have fried something eventually had I not checked.

I bought this PA system the price was right at the time, and thought that it would be fine. However it was not enough power and the fan inside makes a lot of noise. No fault of zZounds but this is just sub-par equipment DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS, spend a little more and get something much better. I have shopped zZounds for almost a year everything else I have bought has been great. It's just this brand...
