I use this controller with 2 Chauvet LED ColorRail Battens and several non-DMX effect lights. The sound controller mode works great with the LED lights and tracks the beat of the music very well. It reacts to music types other than dance music unlike others I have tried, which need a very defined low pitched sound to stay on track. Built well and works great!

Recently I purchased a duo station controller for my dj lights. I had shopped the internet like I always do looking for the best price. While searching I found the controller I wanted on zzounds.com but it said that it was an open box and may have some scratches on it and the price reflected such. I checked to find out the return policy just incase it was to damaged that I could still return it. When the box came three days earlier then I expected it I searched all over the unit and couldnt find a blemish anywhere. In addition it had the original box all of the manuals and as far as I could tell appeared that it had never been used before with the exception of the wire ties that hold new cables together had been removed. I am very happy with this product and the customer support.

The Duo Station does what it says in the ad. It can control the colors of your RGB lighting, and it does a pretty good job. Lots of features for the relatively low number of controls and buttons. However, the "relay pack" (the part that has 9 electrical outlets) is just about half an inch too short to be rack-mounted, even though it has rack ears in the photos. Not going to stop me cold but it's kind of an annoyance.

"Nice controller except for the blackout"

Needed a controller for entry level. Even though I've been a dj for many many years I always had a lighting guy. Not anymore and you have to run lighting if you want to be in the game. The duo station is nice because it runs both effect and LEDs in one unit, and very well I might add except I would like to have a black out for both sides or the one black out for only one side
