Add some additional bass to the already perfect Martin tone with this acoustic guitar's three-piece Rosewood back. It comes equipped with Fishman electronics.

The Martin GPCPA2 demonstrates a touch of additional bass because of its three-piece rosewood back. Featuring legendary Martin tone, the GPCPA2 acoustic electric guitar has striking aesthetic features and onboard intelligence. The GPCPA2 and the Performing Artist Series will take your body, mind and soul to new heights.

The Performing Artist Series integrates two dream guitars: a traditional acoustic with a contemporary acoustic electric. The sweet spot is its versatility, plugged or unplugged. Simplicity and intelligence are beautifully crafted into every detail, inside and out.

Onboard Intelligence

The heart of this onboard intelligence is its ability to replicate nine different world-class studio microphones.

The new Fishman F1 Aura combines incredibly high-end acoustic sound images, onboard digital tuner and a powerful set of tone shaping features for endless tonal versatility.

An impressive array of professional features, including a compressor, phase control, automatic anti-feedback filter and an independent 3-band EQ for both the Gold Plus pickup and the Aura Image signals.

Neck and Fingerboard

The Performing Artist models feature a more parallel neck profile with a slimmer taper at the 12th fret, giving the guitar comfortable width in the first few frets plus a faster feel for lead work.

Satin finish neck and a smooth cutaway provides extreme ease of play up and down the fingerboard.

No, plan to keep it forever. If I had to, I would buy it again.
Sound
Just bought this baby a few days ago. Fantastic! Looks even better in person. Sound is every bit Martin, it takes awhile to figure out the F-1 Aura. But not to hard to learn. This guitar is worth every bit of the big bucks. This is my 4th Martin. I have a 00016CRGTE, A MMV, DSM, and now this GPCPA2. Love them all. They give you a rainbow of sounds. I play for a few church's and provide the acoustic sound. I hope to own this for many years to come. Check it out if your in for a good quality guitar with all the trimmings.
Features
Nine filtered mike sounds to choose from. Every one of them better than the other. Easy to hold with a slick fret board.
Ease of Use
No problem, just a little reading and you can figure it out!
Quality
No blemishes. The finish is beautiful, Its a Martin.
Value
You have to see and play it and decide for yourself.
Manufacturer Support

The Wow Factor
It seems you always play better on a better machine. If your a guitar freak like I'am you know you like what you see.
