Sound
I stopped by the local guitar store to get my usual Elixir acoustic strings but they no longer carry them. Instead, I tried the DR longer life competetor. Yuck. They sounds sound as nice, they squeak a lot when moving around the neck, and there are rough spot on the strings where the coating seems to be globbed on. So sound is 5.
Quality
Due to globbing the coating on, I give them a 5.
Value
These strings aren't worth the price. I think I paid around 10 for acoustic 6 string set. Elixir are around 12.
Manufacturer Support
No, I'll just go back to Elixir and avoid this brand next time.
