"excellent sound...poor quality control from one uke to the next"

An extremely clear, concise tone that sounds excellent at any price and especially when compared to other similar ukuleles in its price range. However, quality control is lacking severely. I had to examine six different ukuleles by Cordoba before finding one that did not have SIGNIFICANT flaws and/or defects.. Also, set up from the Chinese factory is absolutely terrible in 90 percent of the cases. If you find a good one, it's a great ukulele. So, play it and examine it closely.
