These are obviously intended for the stereotypical soft-sound playing. As my brushwork is often rather enregetic, these brushes cracked at the front end of the handle on the second song I used them. The handles are not made of high-impact plastic. Perhaps they shuld come with a disclaimer as such. Otherwise, they are a definite alternative to wire brushes soundwise.
