Overview
Nova Repeater is TC Electronic's new 'no-frills-with-a-sound-that-kills' delay pedal. It is the pedal for you if you are a demanding guitarist who wants instant, high quality and unique results, without any of the fuss! It features the same great sound quality that made their Nova Delay the first choice delay pedal for Paul Gilbert, Doug Aldrich, Nils Lofgren and Allen Hinds. However after listening to the guitar-playing community they have trimmed out any excess baggage while also including additional features over the Nova Delay, and designed it all behind a streamlined and very easy to use interface. In short Nova Repeater is the essential lean, mean, delay-machine!
Simple yet effective
Nova Repeater is all about simplicity. There are no hidden features or complicated functions - you just get the world's best delays in a cheap and easy-to-use package. Yet it is also feature rich being the only pedal in its price range that has a dedicated tap tempo switch and theirr amazing audio tapping technology that lets you set the tempo with your playing. And with six types of TC-quality delays and an unsurpassed feature-set Nova Repeater is quite simply a bargain.
Nova Repeater - All new features
Nova Repeater has three delay time ranges labelled for both min, mid and max positions. These delay times have been carefully chosen to match the sweet-spot times used by most guitar players, making it much easier for you to dial in the perfect delay time - even without a display.
The pedal… read more features two inputs dedicated to instrument or line level signals which means you can use it equally well in front of your amp or in an effects loop. It also has a 'KillDry' switch that makes it possible to use the pedal in a parallel effect loop and is also great for guitar players who use a mixer to prevent their dry sound from being processed. An FX.Level pot lets you adjust the wet level of your signal which means that you won't get annoying level drops on your dry sound - a common problem with other pedals.
Nova Repeater has a new multi-function knob that lets you control the amount of modulation as well as turn the effect on/off. The chorus has been re-tuned making more dramatic modulation effects possible and, on top of that, a brand new vibrato mode has been added. This was a major request among Nova Delay users and makes it possible to emulate classic tape delay wow-and-flutter or create lush modulated pads with a volume pedal.
Again, taking on numerous user requests, they added a new dual delay - read less

"best tap tempo pedal on the market"

This is the delay pedal for me. I had to have the tap tempo feature, and the strum-tempo feature has been a pleasant surprise - I use it all the time. I am definitely impressed with the tone that I've been able to get from this pedal -not as digital and fake as some other ones I've tried. I think I'm finally done looking for my delay pedal.
Sound
Sounds better than the Line 6 DL4 that I had before. Gives you six great, warm sounding delay types. I've found that cranking the feedback does not give you that insane oscillation sound like some delay pedals, but it has its own unique infinite delay sound (more subdued).
Features
I wanted something pared down from the DL4 (good pedal but too many options for me) and this was perfect. Six great delay types, with the ability to dial in those dotted eighth notes with the switch of a button. The tap tempo feature is great, and the auto-strum tap tempo feature is even better! I use the strum-tempo A LOT on stage - more than I use the regular stomp style tap tempo. The flashing lights show you what speed your tap tempo is currently at. My DL4 never showed you what your tempo was so this is a nice change. The only missing feature (perhaps) is programmability - but that's what the Nova Delay is for, and for $100 more bucks. I don't really need presets so I went with the more affordable Nova Repeater. No looper on this pedal either, but I can live with that.

You can figure it out in 15 minutes or less, It's not hard.
Quality
TC Electronics makes quality stuff. I have a few of their other pedals that I really love too (the polytune!)
Value
Great value for a variety of delay types in one small box, AND with tap tempo - which is a crucial feature for me. Comes with the wall power adapter (12v), which is kind of rare for pedals!
