Overview

Part of Taylor Guitars' American Dream series, the AD17e acoustic-electric guitar combines the traditional solid spruce top with ovangkol back and sides, creating a strong low end bass response and clear top end like rosewood, but with a stronger midrange push.

The AD17e also features active ES2 electronics, chamfered body edges, and matte finish with Urban Sienna stain on the back and sides to create a natural, understated aesthetic. Guitar ships in a lightweight and super sturdy Aerocase.

Named after the guitar shop where Taylor Guitars was founded in 1974, the American Dream series embodies the principles of innovation and craftsmanship. These amazing models feature all solid woods, award winning V class bracing, and deliver an incredibly rich and diverse voice in the Grand Pacific body shape.
