Grand Concert Body Shape

The Grand Concert body shape is the smallest of Taylor's full-sized guitar bodies. Its compact contour provides a comfortable feel and features a slightly shorter scale length. The spruce top provides crisp tonal articulation that works well in pretty much any genre or style. Indian rosewood is a musically rich tonewood that exhibits deep lows and clear treble. Both tonewoods resonate a sound that is difficult to pigeonhole into one particular style -- a solid choice for the dynamic player who likes to explore different musical genres.

Tropical Mahogany Neck and Ebony Fretboard

As a guitar tonewood, mahogany pushes the lows and mids slightly more than rosewood and ovangkol do while also adding a good amount of sustain to each note. You have two tone controls and a gain control that's 25 percent hotter than the original ES electronics design.
