"Not bad for the price"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Picked up this guitar in Transparent Green as I was looking for my first 7-string guitar. At this price point, it probably has the best features, but isn't perfect. Pros: I was surprised at how thin and fast the neck feels. The neck is unfinished (which I prefer) and my hand glides up and down the neck, no problem. The action was surprisingly low which was a huge plus. The finish on the body and headstock is really nice, again, better than I expected. The trem feels real solid and the locking tuners are nice. Cons: Like others have mentioned there can be tuning issues after bending a string. This is due to the lack locking nut. I've heard putting graphic in the nut helps this but I haven't tried. Honestly, the tuning issue isn't that bad, but I minor annoyance. The pickups are okay. I didn't expect to like them. I'd pretty much expect to replace pickups on any guitar in this price range. However, they aren't atrocious. So the P/U's aren't really a pro or con.
