Capturing audio for video? Rode's RODELink Newsshooter Kit makes it easy to go wireless! The kit includes a wireless transmitter and receiver that eliminate the need for a microphone cable when you're shooting video.

First, the TX-XLR battery-powered wireless transmitter plugs directly onto your XLR mic -- whether it's a handheld microphone, a shotgun microphone, or the end of your boom pole. There's also a 1/8" input on the transmitter, in case your mic has a 1/8" output. The transmitter converts your microphone's signal into 2.4 GHz digital wireless.

Next, the RX-CAM wireless receiver picks up the wireless signal from up to 100 meters away, and feeds it through a short 1/8" cable to your camera or audio recorder. The RODELink Newsshooter receiver can mount directly to your camera, so it's easy to capture sound for your film masterpiece.
