The Flat TRS to MIDI Cable features a rectangular profile and is classified as TRS-MIDI Type A, adhering to the MIDI standard. Its pin assignment includes MIDI 5 (Sink) to TRS tip, MIDI 4 (Source) to TRS ring, MIDI 2 (Shield) to TRS sleeve, with MIDI 1 and MIDI 3 not connected. The flat rectangular design prevents cable breakage and jams. It has a compact straight DIN 5-pin plug to a flat angled 3.5 mm stereo jack plug (TRS). The cable is 30 cm (11 13/16") long and comes in black.
