Looks cool, great size as I'm tired of hauling around full sized heads (though this thing is about as heavy as one)With the girth and grind knobs as well as the 3 option sweep switch, this amp is actually kind of amazing with the different gain sounds it can accomplish. This is NOT just a metal amp, in fact it is really easy to dial in lower gain, marshall style crunch, and even a twangy country style feel (seriously, as a tone chaser this thing is very surprising). The clean is great, though not a lot of tweaking options on the 50 watt model, still very nice for anything from super clean to a pushed rock kind of soundThis is a VERY bright sounding amp, but it is easy to dial out the bite if you so desire, the tone shaping options work really well on this amp and I personally don't find it very difficult -Incredibly versatile gain channel -Very good clean channel-Built in boost is great for solos-As most have said, you don't REALLY need an OD pedal, I actually prefer to just use the on board boost for solos and just tweak the grind and girth to the feeling I get from using the Maxon without sucking a bit of "umph" from the low end.-Great effects loop-Low noise floor even despite a huge amount of gain, it is a bit noisy, but much easier to manage-cool red LED lighting, I'm a sucker for LEDAs far as the cons go..-Not enough clean channel sculpting options available on the 50 watt version-the price can be considered a con, it's steep but I feel that it ultimately is worth it since read more the amp sounds so goodI owned the Diavlo 100 and was not at all impressed at all with what it did and returned it almost immediately, I thought it seemed cheap and the sound was very weak and thin when it hit band volume, this amp is worlds apart in quality, feels like a little tank despite where it is made. I didn't get to try the Thrasher or the 667 but I'm very pleased with the Satan, this is probably the only Randall head I'll be keeping.I haven't had to contact the Manufacturer so I can't comment on that, I'll just give it a 3
