Proves you don't have to spend $500+ for a fantastic set of studio monitoring headphones. A few years back I ponied up a lot of cash for a pair of Beats Studio phones thinking they were going to be a great set of reference phones. Boy, do they suck compared to these. The bass response on these blows any type of Beats away - no joke. Sorry I don't have anything else to compare them to but for them, at this price, to literally make Beats headphones a joke is saying a lot.
