I am going to keep this one for a long while. For what I do, I don't think there is anything better out there for less than $500. If you would like to hear samples of my work, using this unit, please visit Thanks, Joseph Andrade

This is a fantastic pre amp. I purchased it to replace a usb interface that was not supplying enough power to the mic, even though it has 48v phantom power switch. I could not believe the sound of this pre, especially when the tube is engaged. I use it primarily for voice over work. The sound is awesome: warm, clear, beautiful. I cannot believe the difference.

It is truly feature rich. Most of which I will never use but you might. Fist off it has two channels. You can run the pre amp in tube mode or solid state. Also, it has mirror controls for both, with very nice pots that are responsive to your every adjustment. It has an 80Hz filter switch, some great VU meters to monitor your signal, 48v phantom power switches, as well as a -20 pad.

Ease of Use
Could not be easier to use. Simply plug in your mic or instrument and away you go!

Very well built, good looking unit. I don't know if this pre would be good for the road as I do not use it for that purpose. However, it is small enough that you could probably take it with you on the road with no problems.

Tremendous bang for read more the buck! This does the job of a $500-$750 pre amp, it is that good! The tube which it came with sound fantastic, so I can only imagine what it would sound like with a different tube.

The Wow Factor
I would replace it in a second if was to get stolen.
