Had mixed feelings before I ordered this distortion. I was a big fan of analog pedals and digital sounded weird to me. Ohh I was so wrong. I didn't expect digital technology goes that far. So imagine that you are pedal builder and you build your own distortion , overdrive or fuzz. You selecting components ( the best possible) build modules and again connecting 'em together. You can tweak and adjust each components. Change from germanium to silicone....or jfet or mosfet or tubes, and tube really sound like a tube. So amazing. Software is so easy to use. There is a lot of fistortions and overdrives to choose from. You can build your own dist or overdrive sounding your way. Really endless possibilities . Factory presets are not that exciting if you play heavy metal. They are most likely for blues rock or rock , but as soon I downloaded softer and redeemed my code to full access to the software , I started to build my own presets. They sounds amazing. Pure power. Another big plus is no hiss and noise . This pedal is really quite about noise. Almost all my analog distortions have high noise issue. Bias is pretty noise free. Anyway it has a high quality noise gate built in. In addition software including amp room, so you can choose the amp you want to use with your pedal. Together with Bias Delay they are greatest pedals I ever had in my life.
