Blues, punk, or rock out with this guitar. I looked at guitars at twice the price from the other maker and this blows them away in feel and tone. The #7 pickups are soo nice. Forget changing them out. They are PRS designed and assembled in an overseas factory that has been producing quality for over a decade. The spilts give you an awesome single coil tone but best is to split the neck and play it with the bridge as a hummer. This guitar was made in Maryland by the same folks that make the Custom 24. Incidentally, I also own an 89 Custom 24 and this guitar has all of my love and attention since it arrived. Lastly, the satin finish and no fillers gives you a raw and badass feel on the neck and body. McCarty Burst Satin looks legit vintage without any pretty boy pretentiousness. Sickest guitar out there for the money, if you want this style and tonal quality, if you ask me. I love it. Cheers PRS!
