With an all mahogany body, the Martin DC-15ME produces a warm, rich, full tone. This Dreadnought acoustic-electric cutaway model is complete with an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The beauty of the fingerboard is enhanced with diamonds and squares position inlays. New Fishman Matrix VT Enhance electronics complete this model and make it a very affordable and versatile instrument for player looking for a classic, timeless model. This model is a variation on the D-15 played by Chris Martin of Coldplay.

This is a high maintenance guitar that requires constant up keep. In addition the electronics are subpar and failed after a year's use. My DC 15MEL has had two trips to the Martin factory for neck and splitting problems in the bout, while I had to battle with Martin over warranty coverage. They actually tried to blame it on the polar vortex!!! I'm an older player and baby my guitars. Buyer beware.
