This product has DEFINITELY made a huge difference in my playing. Before, although I had a wireless strap-on Midi controller/Keytar, I was still restricted by my MIDI cable running through to my Korg X50 Sound Module. Now, with this system, while in the studio I can have my controller, sound module, additional keyboard/controller/module, AND my computer all hooked up at the same time, with ONE system! The battery life for the transmitter is definitely more than 15 hours, since I have used it for about 15 hours and still haven't had the "low batt" LED light go on. DEFINITELY BUY THIS and not MIDIJET or KENTON WIRELESS. Those are ripoffs!! This is just as good, even better, and less than half the price!

Sound
The wireless signals do not interfere with any other wireless system you may have (In my room, I happen to have wireless internet modems, headphones, and gaming controllers). The sound of course is crisp just as if you were playing a wired controller, and as far as range is concerned.. This baby is excellent!

Features
VERY EASY Plug-n-play capabilities. I was able to use it right out of the box, as it comes with DC Plug for the receiver, and AA batt's for the transmitter. The receiver itself has both MIDI IN and OUT ports, as well as a USB port which can be used to link your controller to your computer, without any additional MIDI cables or interfaces.

Ease of Use
Plug 'n Play! Just read more open the box, strap on your controller (or whatever else you plan on using), connect the receiver to your rig/module/master keyboard, turn the on switch on the transmitter, then push the button on the receiver, and you're done! I have had the same two AA batteries on the transmitter for over a week now, and I play 2-5hrs daily.

Quality
Compared to similar products (MidiJet, Kenton Wireless) which cost more than twice what the midAir costs, this seems like a steal. I've had experience with all three, and they are all excellent. The MidAir does look best, and is the lightest and seems to be the most reliable. My *ONLY* issue with the M-Audio MidAir system is that the included Receiver cable (Midi on one end, Telephone plug on the either) is far too short, and I'm force to use a transmitter baggy to hook it to my strap, otherwise it won't stay.

Value
Compared to MidiJet and Kenton, considering it can do all the others can, PLUS more (USB to computers, MIDI Out) and costs less than HALF, this has got by far the BEST value.

Manufacturer Support
Very descriptive manual (included CD), easy to use instructions, and very helpful online staff.

The Wow Factor
Looks awesome!! Sleek design, strategically placed LED lights that are only visible to you, lightweight, and just overall awesome looking!
