The new PX3 Pandora personal effects processor comes packed with more exciting features and sounds than ever before!
The new Pandora PX3 joins the acclaimed Pandora Series of compact multi-effects units that offer a portable, powerful guitar playing experience. With a new color and design, the PX3 includes some powerful goodies like a phrase trainer and a rotary encoder for fast and easy editing. Chock full of 100 programs (50 preset and 50 user), the PX3's effects settings will wow you right out of the box, plus it comes with six types of cabinet resonators for even more realistic amp sounds. In addition to the center canceller and key transpose functions that were popular on the PX2, the PX3 adds a phrase trainer that makes it easier for you to learn phrases by ear and an Intelligent Pitch Shifter for in-key harmonies. The popular PX2 built-in Rhythm function has been expanded to include Bass Lines!
Phrase Trainer Helps You Learn Difficult Solos or Phrases
The PANDORA PX3 lets you sample up to 16 seconds from a CD player or other source, and loop-playback the sampled sound to hear the recording as many times as you like. A Hold function lets you stretch out a specific note, and you can even slow down the playback as much as 25% without affecting the original pitch — a great convenience when you are trying to learn a rapid solo or complex phrase.
56 High-Quality Effects in 100 Programs
The PANDORA PX3 provides 56 types of high-quality effects such as distortion, overdrive,… read more wah, and compression. The 50 different preset effect programs include new effects such as a long delay of up to 2 seconds (2,000 msec) and an intelligent pitch shifter that adds harmony suitable to the scale you specify. In addition, you can store 50 more of your own original effect programs, for a total of 100 programs. The cabinet resonator effect simulates a guitar amp in every detail, including the acoustic resonances of the speaker enclosure, and lets you select from 6 types of popular amps. Because you can control the strength of the enclosure resonance, this effect gives you superbly rich and "live" sound even when recording directly to a line input without an amp. Rotary encoder makes all operations quick and easy.
The PANDORA PX3 features a rotary encoder that lets you modify edit values simply by turning a dial, and a rotary graph display that shows the modified location at a glance. Editing sounds and changing programs is faster and easier than ever before!
40 Types of Rhythm and Bass Patterns
40 styles of rhythm patterns including rock, jazz, funk, blues, and dance music are built in. Full rhythm and bass lines support your playing, and you can even specify key chords for the bass part — the perfect way to practice any style of music. Of course you can use effect programs along with this function, letting you sharpen your picking, rhythm, and ad lib techniques. The rhythm tone generator features the sounds that are found on classic analog rhythm machines. You can also play along with a conventional metronome. The volume of the rhythm and metronome are fully adjustable.

Simply by connecting the output of a CD player or other audio source to the AUX IN of the PANDORA PX3, you can play along while listening to a song. The Center Cancel function drops out the sound in the stereo center of a recording, effectively erasing the guitar solo and vocals on many recordings. In addition, you can use the Key Transpose function to raise or lower the pitch of the input song by as much as one octave, letting you adjust the pitch of the song to the tuning of your guitar and allowing you to practice in different keys. Songs originally played in a lowered tuning can be raised to regular tuning so that you don't have to re-tune! All sounds can be processed by the Hyper Bass Boost function for awesome live-quality low-frequency sound even when using headphones.
