The Axion Label models feature forward-looking developments in sound, playability and looks that take performances higher, deeper and heavier. Arm yourself with the Axion Label and get ready to break some ground.

The 7-String Ibanez RGA71AL Axion Label Electric Guitar features a Macassar Ebony fretboard that provides a tight low end with quick response and the extremely rigid, super-thin and ultra-playable Nitro Wizard 5-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck substantially increases sustain. The Sub Zero treated frets can stand up against the hardest riffing and string-bending. The luminescent side dot inlays make it easy for players to perform on dark stages and match the dazzling luminescent Ibanez headstock logo.

Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups deliver a bright and wickedly expressive tone, transmitting a quick bottom-end response for picking and fast riffing along with a dynamic midrange and precise high-end articulation. The coil-tap switch unleashes the Aftermath pickup's full output (for a modern voice) or a lower output signal (for a vintage tone). The Gibraltar Standard II enables the optimal transfer of each string's vibration. The Gotoh locking tuners provide tuning accuracy and allow for quick, efficient string changing and the Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins hold a strap securely but make it easy to put the strap on and take off quickly.

Title says it all. This guitar oozes elegance and class and top notch quality, but it is a beast of a guitar. The finish is stunning in person, pics don't do it justice. The exotic woods look fantastic, and the burnt chrome finish on the pickups are the icing on the cake. This is my first encounter with Bare Knuckle pickups, and I am very pleased. The aftermath set here have a very pleasing snarl while retaining clarity and balance across all the strings. I don't do much clean work so someone else would be better suited to attest to that side of the pickups, all I can say is they sound clean and smooth to me. The features of this thing are over the top for the price point. You get Gotoh locking tuners, fantastic Ibanez/Gibralter bridge, aftermarket pickups, exotic woods for the neck and body (Panga Panga, Nyatoh, Macassar ebony) the flame maple top has a nicely pronounced figure that is also symmetrical in the matching. The aurora burst is subtle, but when light hits it the guitar just has this reflective glow around the edges that takes your breath away. Luminlay side dots are added as well which are life savers on a dark stage. For giggles Ibanez even made the headstock logo glow in the dark as well! White body binding really finishes off the elegant look of this thing. If all these great features aren't enough, they also included Schaller "S" straplocks in the box too!! The finish has no flaws that Ive noticed, and out of the box it plays fantastic, only tweaking I had to read more do was raise the neck pickup just a tad. This guitar is top notch, it has it all - the looks, the sound, the brand reputation, what more could you want? A case... That's the only thing its missing. With all these great attributes and the price, not having a case makes it feel like something is missing. If it came with a case it would no doubt be THE complete package. I'll buy one for it eventually. So, all in all; I'm in love with this guitar.
