Ibanez AF85TDG Artcore Hollowbody Electric Guitar

No longer available at zZounds
Great for jazz, swing, rockabilly, and more, the AF85TDG features an old-school vibrato, tuneful humbuckers, and a full range of vintage-style adornments.

In comparison to the semi-hollow concept, traditional full hollow construction uses no center support block in the body. Subsequently, the guitar top's vibrations produce rich, complex tonal textures. Artcore's full hollow models are offered in a variety of body sizes, thicknesses, and shapes as well as appointments such as the tremolo. The experience of these hollow-bodied Artcores may well be out-of-body!

VBF70 Vintage Vibrato

This old school vibrato adds country and rockabilly nuances to the rich tone of a fullhollow guitar, but the included roller saddles eliminate "old school" tuning problems.

Sure Grip III Knobs

Designed for precise control of knobs with non-slip functionality, while offering a nice and classic look.

I paid 649.00 for mine and it's an awesome guitar with excellent sound from all settings. From mellow to blazing hot it's a dream. easy playing and fast slim neck. The picture doesn't do it justice, absolutely stunning. Didn't have a blemish on mine and it is a bit darker than this. Great for country, Jazz, Rock or Blues. It can handle it all. Only thing I had to do was put different strings on it. Incredible guitar for the money. Seems like it should go for alot more. Mine came in mint condition and was set up to go right out of the box. I will hang on to this one for a long time as I don't think I'll find another as nice or beautifully sounding as this one. I wrote to Ibanez as I could not find it listed in any of their catalogs and found out that it is a limited run guitar compared to their full production run of guitars so it wasn't put in the catalog! I was suprised to find this out. Anyone would be thrilled with this guitar at this price. The only thing is that the bridge is not fixed in place and you have to be careful not to move it when you change strings. but it's worth the trouble!!!
