I had a gretsch hollow body before and it didn't feel right for me. I picked up this semi hollow body and let me say it's worth more than I payed. The craftsmanship on this axe is second to none. If you hold it right it looks metal flake purple. The binding the inlays the chrome the color are awesome. But the best part about it is the sound. I have an Ibanez a tele and this gretsch. The gretsch has become my go to. You'll have to pry it from my cold dead fingers.
