I am going to keep this short and sweet very sweet guitar. this is my second Explorer and my first was great but even though there have been build complaints about Gibsons lately this new Explorer is DEFINITELY A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION! I opened the very well packed package not a scratch on the beautiful Gibson brown and gold case, let alone the out of the box set up and almost perfectly in tune Natural finish guitar. Honestly I was taking a chance buying this finish guitar because I really love them but I am also very picky about coloring and stain tone. When I opened the case the whole family was floored it is more amazing than it could have been in my wildest dreams and talking about dreams it plays like one also. If you are even just considering this super well balanced axe don't hesitate. Anyone who has purchased a guitar over the internet knows no 2 are alike one may be a darker finish one may have a little ding somewhere on the instrument, there are 1001 places you could find a slight imperfection or a noticeable ding. That's why we can return them or work something out. At any rate 2nd axe I've bought both times customer service was fantastic the instruments are way above my expectations and the guys at zZounds have been extremely helpful. I have 1 issue with one of the companies in this deal but I will take it up with them but it is definitely not a deal breaker.
