This bass rocks! It comes in a really nice case and has some other goodies in there too. The bass it's self is really nice. The nitro lacquer is thin and you can feel a little of the wood grain under it. Mine came perfectly set up. Just needed to be tuned. The new babicz bridge is pretty solid too. The neck is nice and thin. Almost like a jazz bass but not as deep. The tuners work well and everything is put together well. It's also not too heavy or light. The pickups are hot with a lot definition. Using a pick gets you that classic thunderbird growl. Really the only thing I didn't like were the factory strings. That's easily fixed though. All in all its a great bass with its own vibe. It's a pure rock n roll bass, don't expect to play jazz and funk without playing with your eq a lot.
