The Fender American Ultra II Stratocaster features a select alder body with sculpted body contours. For effortless playability, the quartersawn maple neck features Fender's Modern D profile and smooth Ultra Satin finish. "Amazing Strat"

This is hands down the best Strat I've ever owned, and I've been playing for 61 years. I got my first Strat at 18. Fender just keeps getting better and better. I wasn't that fond of the earlier noiseless pickups, but these ones are a huge improvement. The push push knob gives you a couple of extra nice sounds. The thinner neck makes it so fast. Also, the rounded edges are flawless. I was ready to change out the white pickups with black ones, but when this axe came it was absolutely stunning. A real head turner. I also have a Fender American Professional II Stratocaster Electric Guitar, Rosewood Fingerboard in Dark Night. This one blows it away in every aspect. I really like the Dark Night one, but I think I am going to sell it. With another Strat and 3 Teles, one of them has to go. You will not be disappointed with this guitar, and zZounds makes it so easy to own! Happy buying!
