This guitar definitely has nicer fret work than all the Mexican guitars including the deluxe series. The construction is very solid and the finish is flawless. The matching headstock has clean lines and looks very nice. The Texas specials sound amazing too! I'd say the guitar is worth the money, if you consider the fact that there's $200 worth of pickups in the guitar your getting an American strat for a major bargain but still get the American quality such as the fret being dresses much nicer than any of the Mexican fenders! A contoured heel, a two point term and locking tuners would be been nice but then you basically talking an elite so it is what it is at this price point!

Sound
The Texas specials are very dynamic and responsive. They (like any good strat) make you play a certain way and encourage you to dig into certain notes you might not dig Into on other guitars...very inspiring

Features
The best features are the super comfy neck profile, the dresses jumbo frets, the Texas specials and the matching headstock. In a perfect world this guitar would feature a contoured heel, 2 point term and locking tuners but it's an incredible value for the money

Ease of Use
Ready to play out of the box...even better after a setup. Straight ahead strat

Quality
Top notch American quality, definitely a step up from Mexican fenders without a doubt
