I got this bass because I have a couple Precision basses, a Rickenbacker 4003, and even a Gibson. But I didn't have a Jazz. I had an early Geddy Lee model and really liked it, and almost ordered another. I'm glad that I didn't! This bass is great. Nice and light compared to my old Geddy Lee Jazz, the pickups are really nice and I even noticed that the volume and tone pots are too notch. The finish is awesome! I got the black finish and it is flawless. Plays looks and sounds like a much more expensive bass! If you're on the fence about one, buy it! I had to adjust the truss rod just a little bit, but I like the action really low!
