"Sweet Looks And Sound!!"
Verified Customer
zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I bought this 'cause it looked cool and none of my other Telecasters have the regular pickup configuration. I wish it played well (my '98 & '99 did) right out of the box, so that was disappointing. But it sounds and looks great. But any guitar can be supplemented. Not because it doesn't do the job, just because YOU CAN'T HAVE TOO MANY GUITARS!!!!
Sound
This guitar sounds sweet and open, rich and warm, but still has that Tele bight.
Features
Has all the features you need on a Tele!
Quality
Built strong and tough, like most Teles, but I thought the set-up on it left alot to be desired. If you or someone you know can set it up for you you won't have a problem. But the one I got was not very playable right out of the box.
Value
The list price on this guitar is a little steep. So I bought a "blem" at a reasonable price.
Manufacturer Support
I emailed Fender last week about something totally unrelated to this guitar and they emailed me back right away with all the info I needed. Their website is pretty informative, too.
The Wow Factor
Teles are just COOL, and any guitar with a matching headstock is even cooler! Add to that a "retro" color and.....................
