It's good. Real good.

Sound
I've been eye balling this guitar for a while due to its styling and minimalist approach to the offering of a professional instrument. I've played Gibsons and American Fenders all my life and wanted a change, but was worried about ordering a new guitar with pick ups that I was unfamiliar with. After researching the SD Sentient and Pegasus PU's quite extensively, I pulled the trigger on this LTD MH1000NTQM. I plugged into an Orange Dual Terror and spent a day exploring the tones of my new MH at a small local guitar store. No pre amps, no effects, no pedals, just pure axe and amp. I immediately noticed how full and bright this guitar sounded, biting the air with overdriven melodies played and inspiring with its cleans in all pickup settings. Just to be sure I wasn't drunk with happiness of my new purchase, I pulled a 2018 Les Paul Standard (Burstbuckers) off of the wall and plugged in to compare. Apples to Oranges? Maybe. But for my style of music, it was necessary to confirm what I was hearing - my new MH offers full, versatile studio quality tone for a thousand bucks with only two knobs, a three way selector and a coil tap. I don't play on stage anymore, but if I did, I wouldn't be worried about hitting controls inadvertently due to the positioning and minimalist approach of the knobs and switch. Not to mention the MH is super light weight and sits on the lap quite nicely. The guitar shop owner looked over at me with read more a smile and said "dude, that guitar sounds really good", being thrown off by the soft rock melodies coming from my funky metal-ish looking purple axe. I replied proudly "I know, right?". I love how the fretboard presents as a wide open playing field, completely accessible and unrestricted with its large frets. I don't feel trapped or restricted, free to create whatever I please. This is truly the player's guitar I was looking for for practice, writing and recording.

Features
In a nutshell, the simple offerings I was looking for: Aggressive passive dual humbucking guitar with a string through body, three way selector switch, tone and volume knob with a coil tap. All controls click, turn and switch with authority reminding you that you where your money went on this guitar. Light weight mahogany body with neck through design and a large, accessible fretboard. Oh yea, this thing has locking tuners that are super easy to use and work amazingly. Player's guitar.

Ease of Use
The LTD MH1000NTQM offers super versatile tones, having the ingredients to pump for all musical styles due to passive dual humbucking electronics with a coil split option and build materials. I am beyond impressed at this point, loving this guitar more so than any of my past Gibsons, Fenders and ESP Horizon. This is my go to guitar at the moment.

Quality
Don't make me do this. I chose purple for the obnoxiousness of it all. The purple with black everything rule. However, the build quality, finish and presentation made me wonder why I didn't order a second one-of-these instead of buying an ESP Horizon NT2 which is twice the price. It seems as if the builder of my LTD MH put this guitar together as if their life depended on it.

Value
It's expensive, no doubt. But if I had to choose one axe to do it all for a thousand bucks, this would be it. They're all around a thousand on the interwebs.

Manufacturer Support
Haven't dealt with the company, but Ill give 5 stars due to being a pretty happy guy right now with my LTD's and ESP's and for building my sick guitars.

The Wow Factor
It's purple with black presentation with minimal controls, string through body and beautiful wood are what drew my attention in the first place. I love looking at this thing. I didn't want all the whammy bars, locking nuts and all the metal looking stuff on my guitar so this was it. My daughter approves of the purple color.
