Overview
ESP builds the arch-top H1000 with incredible pickups and their innovative TonePros Locking Bridge System -- and dramatic abalone inlays on the fingerboard, in the body, neck and headstock binding. And by the way -- it's a set-neck guitar! The pickups are the Seymour Duncan JB and '59 models - a killer combination designed for huge tone, days of sustain and sparkling harmonics. The TonePros bridge system aids in improving sustain and improved tuning and intonation stability. It's going to be tough to find more guitar for the money - this one's a winner.
TonePros Locking Bridge System
A simple concept that no one thought of until TonPros, the system features set screws on either side of the bridge and stop tailpiece. Because they secure solidly in place, intonation and tuning are more accurate-the bridge never falls off. Sustain is better, too, since all of the parts in the system are locked in place and become one with the guitar body.
Seymour Duncan 59 Humbucker
The most important thing about the vintage Patent Applied For pickup was its warm, smooth tone and sustain that was unlike anything heard before. The SH-1 is built with the same kind of enameled wire, nickel-plated studs, and balanced coil windings that humbucker inventor Seth Lover used in his first pickups. It looks and sounds just like a '59.
Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker
A completely balanced coil configuration produces great harmonics and a high output with just the right blend of sustain and distortion. You… read more get the best of both worlds: from sweet warm tones to raw rock 'n' roll. read less
