Ben Burnley is the founder of the eponymously-named rock/alt-metal band Breaking Benjamin, and his LTD Signature Series guitar, the BB-600 Baritone, is the driving force for this frontman's musical creations. The BB-600B is one of the most versatile signature models ever made by ESP. It includes two distinct pickup types: a pair of high-quality magnetic pickups (with a set comprised of Seymour Duncan '59 and JB), as well as a Graph Tech Ghost-Loaded Resomax NV bridge and tailpiece that offers an integrated piezo pickup. The BB-600B also includes two output jacks, allowing you to route the signal from the standard magnetic pickups to one amplifier and the piezo pickup to another for incredible flexibility onstage or in studios.

More than just sonically flexible, the BB-600B is an incredible instrument in other ways as well. A single-cutaway Eclipse body style with set-thru construction, the BB-600B is a baritone guitar at 27" scale, allowing for downtuning without sacrificing ideal string tension. Its mahogany body is topped with quilted maple in an amazing See Thru Black Sunburst Satin finish. It offers a thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck for a comfortable playing feel. The aesthetic of this guitar is complemented with custom red pickup covers, red fingerboard inlays with the Breaking Benjamin symbol, and a red LTD logo.

First, I'll admit that I was drawn to this guitar by its looks. It is absolutely gorgeous. Then after closer inspection I find out it's Been Burnley's signature guitar(absolutely love Breaking Benjamin) as well as a baritone... With piezo and in my favorite body style to boot! Down tuning without string swapping a standard guitar and having to play sloppy strings..... I'm in heaven. It even comes with custom red Seymour Duncan JB/59 pickups. This guitar is a loaded beast. It being my first baritone it's size caught me off guard. It is noticably bigger and heavier than a standard ESP/LTD Eclipse(though not quite Les Paul thick and heavy).....Which, as a baritone, it should be. Just took some getting used to. This guitar is one of my most played and my favorite to just sit and stare at. zZounds shipped me this beauty in the ESP hard case I purchased with it. Their service and payment plans are unmatched. The only con I have is that I wish it had an active switch between pickups and piezo. The way the guitar is set up now, you have to choose one when plugging it in. It has two separate jacks, one for piezo and one for magnetic pickups. An active switch and just one input jack would have been much more preferred, but it's definitely not a deal-breaker. This guitar is amazing and I love it. ESP customer service is also top notch. Be it over the phone or via email, they have been extremely helpful and answered all my questions about this guitar. Before as well as after purchase. read more
