The Gibson L-00, first introduced in the early 1930s, has been an industry-standard small-bodied guitar for decades. Often referred to as parlor guitars, since they were frequently played in the living rooms--or "parlors"--of homes, L-Series models have remained popular ever since. Epiphone's L-00 Standard offers an authentic, exceptional-playing, and great-sounding parlor acoustic at an accessible price.

Developed from the ground up by the Epiphone team in collaboration with Gibson Acoustic, the L-00 Standard beautifully captures the heritage of those early Gibson models. It is crafted from all solid tonewoods, ensuring a voice that will continue to open up and improve as the guitar ages. The body features solid mahogany back and sides paired with a solid spruce top, delivering a balanced tone ideal for strumming or fingerstyle. This combination makes the L-00 especially appealing for country, folk, blues, Americana, and other styles.

The one-piece mahogany neck has a comfortable Rounded C profile and attaches to the body with a glued-in, tapered dovetail joint.
