Sounds great, like a 5150/6505 to me awesome as a preamp too, I didn’t need to crank the gain, I had it at 10:30, 8:30 w/the boost for palm-muted rhythm, noon for leads.One of the very best metal distortions I’ve played, sounds and feels like an amp to me.The gate works good, the boost sounds good, one of the very best metal distortions I’ve tried, I’m also a pedal nut, by the way, I own way too many pedals, but that’s my live sound and they double as recording tools. If it had an effects loop it’d be perfect, IMO, but it’s an excellent high gain distortion.
