Received today, very well packaged in 3 boxes. The guitar is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I am super picky about finish and I'd be hard pressed to find a single flaw in the workmanship. Many guitars come needing to be set up and I am one of those individuals that has the tools and supplies to do this myself. This Utica arrived with nice, low action right out of the box, i didnt have to adjust anything. I got the spruce top version and the solid top is gorgeous with a very visible woodgrain. The mahogany back and sides are very nice as well and the gloss finish appears very thin so it doesnt dampen the sound. Speaking of, it sounds great for a mini, not tinny or toy like at all. It has a rich, full sound. Does it sound like a full size dreadnaught? Of course not, why would anyone expect a mini to sound as loud and full as a guitar twice its size? The art deco headstock is my favorite part of this guitar and the very slim c shaped neck is perfect for my very tiny adult female hands. Sizewise, if you are wondering...its similar to a Baby Taylor, but even a little smaller i believe. Even smaller than other 3/4's Ive owned. Absolutely percect for travel, the couch or for those with very tiny hands such as myself. Very much worth the price.
