I wanted to try these because the price was right. I was hopeful that Behringer was putting out an affordable product that would suit our needs as Karaoke DJ and Wedding DJ's. The only way I will trust these again, is if I have a singer standing right next to the receiver. The good. The price is OK for cheap mics. The rest is bad. The power button is unnecessarily complicated. It isnt that difficult, but you have to hold the button down for a fair amount of time when I would simply prefer a switch. A clear line of sight is necessary, other wise, even from short distances the mics will cut out. We had to use these for a wedding because we had two events the same day and our "good" set of mics were in use elsewhere. The best man, maid of honor etc... were all within the stated range of these microphones but were cutting out constantly. It was embarrassing. I probably wont trust these to be used for karaoke any more, and certainly wont use them at a wedding. I think the only place I have that these will be useful will be for hosting Trivia at bars or at home for my kids. In my opinion, get the American DJ WM219 or the WM 419. Those are solid inexpensive mics with a good range and sound. If money is of no consideration, get some nice Shure or Sennheiser gear.
