What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Alder body Light weight with a wide tonal range
Maple neck Bright tone, full sustain and strength
Maple fretboard Delivers a bright, snappy sound
Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups Stacked single-coil pickups; vintage output

Light in weight, but not sound, the Deluxe Telecaster Thinline is crafted with timelessly elegant style and authentic Fender tone. Crisp and articulate, with a versatile voice that cuts through a busy mix, this stage-tested design is the ideal combination of modern features and traditional aesthetics. With a little bit of extra 'magic' up its sleeve, this instrument is as flexible as it is distinctly stylish.

VINTAGE NOISELESS PICKUPS

These pickups produce all the brilliant pristine, well-defined tone of vintage single-coil pickups, with no hum.

12" FINGERBOARD RADIUS

This instrument features a fingerboard radius (the amount of curvature across the width of the fingerboard) that, at 12", is substantially more flattened than both a vintage-style 7.25" radius and a modern 9.5" radius. Feels notably flat even though there's still slight curvature--great for bending notes without fretting out.

UPGRADED MODERN BRIDGE

For superior intonation, sustain and ease of adjustment, Deluxe Series guitars feature modern bridges with upgraded features. This instrument has a string-through-body bridge with block saddles.

LOCKING SHORT-POST TUNING MACHINES

This instrument features locking short-post tuning machines for increased tuning stability and easy restringing. The increased break angle creates buzz-free performance without annoying overtones.

FOUR-WAY PICKUP SWITCH

The special four-way pickup switch on this Telecaster Thinline guitar adds a fourth read more pickup combination--neck and bridge together, in series. Series wiring sets your tone on fire with hotter output and a slight midrange boost.

SEMI-HOLLOW BODY

The most notable hallmark of this modern Telecaster Thinline model is its comfortably lightweight semi-hollow body, which also contributes much to its resonant tonal character and authentically evokes its late-1960s and early-'70s ancestors.

Features:

- Single cutaway semi-hollowbody electric guitar
- Two Vintage Noiseless Tele pickups (neck and bridge)
- Four-way switching includes series wiring
- Six-saddle string-through-body Tele bridge with block saddles
- 12"-radius fingerboard; contoured neck heel; locking short-post tuning machines

If you always wanted a 335 but didn’t like the body then this is a viable alternative. This guitar is way overlooked. It can get very mellow tones to very nice tele tones and everything in between. The neck is super comfortable to play and it’s light weight. A perfect combo. No need to spend thousands when this guitar can do it all. Pick one up you won’t be sorry. The workmanship is spot on as well. It came fully set up no flaws at all just put on my strings of choice and took it to several gigs. The locking timers make changing strings a breeze and they work very well. Great job Fender and zZounds for a super fast delivery and great payment plan.

Sound
This guitar is great for jazz, blues, 60s rock, rock, country, finger picking, and pop. I wouldn’t recommend it for metal but with the right player you might get away with it. I use many amps from a fender Champ to Twin I keep the treble at 9 am, the bass at 1pm and the kids at 10 and the sound is sweet since the guitar by nature is a mid range instrument. I use those setting on all my guitars and just adjust the guitar pots as needed. Fit and finish are flawless and even the sound hole is done nicely. Binding is wonderful and neck is super smooth and fast. This is my new go to guitar and I have 136 to choose from.

Features
The tone knob is really easy to work with and switch is great too just place in the right spot to grab easily. The tone pot has texture read more so it’s essy to work with on the fly.

Ease of Use
This guitar is easy to tune in just a matter of what you prefer it can do it all

Quality
Quality is top shelf no flaws no issues

Value
Definitely worth the price. If I didn’t know how much it cost I would have guessed at least $2000+

Manufacturer Support
Fender support has always been great for me. I haven’t needed them for this guitar but for others in the past they went above and beyond

The Wow Factor
The red color on this guitar is absolutely gorgeous and I’m not a red fan but this one is a beauty.
