Feature:
good patch mangement system, tuner, drum machine (which i cant find) easy to understand the whole thing. having a metal chasis is fantastic for live performers. not much missing from the package in terms of features except balanced outputs (canon or xlr)
Quality:
physically, as i have mentioned, the pedal is great, strong metal and tough pedals, but the circuitry and effects are honestly just noisy and tinny.
Value:
if it sounded a tad better, even if the hiss was gone, and the trashy noise gate, then this would be a ten.
i paid $270 australian (normally $325)
Desirability:
i wanted it before i bought it, not after.
make sure you test anything musical you buy THOUROUGHLY BEFORE YOU BUY IT
Sound:
Funny, i tried it in the shop, and found the various preset patches pretty basic, but essentially all up to scratch, but it was rather noisy in the shop.
At home in a nice quiet room, i was apalled to hear how much hiss and hums are apparent in the amp modelling, and even worse, scetchily hidden behind a primitive noisegate filter (which isnt part of the effects or editable)
a few of the amp models even spiked out, creating a loud sharp thwack everytime i played lower "e" (which i play alot)
most of the effects are unpolished and many lack good equlization, sounding tinny or hollow.
Support:
havent tried for a refund yet, have to leave this blank.
Overall:
look, basicaly, with pedals like the digitech range and low end korg stuff, this thing just dont cut it, even as a practise toy.
if you ever want to play live, make sure the audience is drunk, and if you want to record, you be better off with a digitech for the similar price.
