Quality:
This is Zildjian's entry level cymbal. However, there were no defects or examples of poor craftsmanship on either of the cymbals I purcased.
Desirability:
These cymbals look good, the brilliant finish and hammering look professional.
Sound:
This is a decent cymbal at a great price! I have 2 of the 16" ZBT crashes that I use in rehearsals and practice. The sound is very bright, with a quick response and decay. I play heavy rock/metal and the sound cuts right through, although I think a larger size would naturally add volume and power. Zildjian doesn't put their name on junk, so don't be fooled by the low price.
Overall:
I chose the ZBT because I wanted an inexpensive cymbal to use for rehearsals and to round out my kit for live gigs. Zildjian definitely delivered. I would be happy to use these cymbals for a live gig.
