Feature:
The flanged bottom is the key to great volume when the hat is closed. It allows the stick sound to project and keep a great tone. Also I find that when I'm using my ride and just keeping time with my hat it enhances the sound of the ride like I've never been able to achieve with other hats.

Quality:
Zildjian quality speaks for itself!! I clean them once a week before gigs with "Groove Juice" cymbal cleaner and 6 months of jamming has yet to produce a crack or even a permanent stick mark. And that is using "A-Head" 2B sticks.

Value:
No more expensive than an a good set of quality hats.

Desirability:
As with all the "A Custom" series these hats have a great finish and look great under the lights.

Sound:
Over the last 25 years I've tried several brands and types of hats and have never been happy with the sound. Thanks to Zildjian's web site and these reviews I was able to find and hear the Master Sound hats. After 6 months of using them almost daily, I'm still blown away by their sound. Clean, crisp, bright, and can play jazz or metal with equal presence. I can't say enough about their sound!! "The Holy Grail of Hi Hats"

They perform well and have a great reputation. Travis Barker uses them!

Desirability:
I think this cymbol really stands out on my set. It has a fine metallic lust that my other cymbols don't.

Sound:
The quality is superb, a standard to zildjian. it has a very bright sound to it, almost too bright, but really great.

Overall:
I've had a few sets of hihats, but this is my fav. They have a character that is very expressive and warm about them.
