Wanted something that was trashy and cutting like a china, but not overpowering or clangy. This cymbal sits nicely in many arrangements, explodes and decays very quickly. It is cutting as well, but not in an overpowering way. Like the other A Custom Zildjian's, this cymbal has a nice shimmering and modern sound. It is great for accents or in a situation that you need a short, yet full crash down. Works well for many styles whether you use it as an effects ride, crash or china type.

Just got this in and tested it out. Love the sound but as soon as I started playing, I hit the cymbal and it just turned inside out. I put it back how it was and now there is a slight indent (warp) on the cymbal. After that every time that I hit it now it just goes back to inside out. It would be cool but it doesn't sound the same being in side out. Returning it for a different one.
