This unit COULD have been one of the greatest things to come into a guitar players life, however Yamaha missed the boat on some VERY important aspects.
First, and formost, where's the 'start/stop/intro' pedal?
There's nothing more frustrating that having to program a song to have a 'count in' measure, or to have to either program the ending, or even worse, having to reach over during a live performance and turning the thing off!! Not exactly 'stage-friendly'!
Also, make SURE to keep batteries in this baby ALL the time. I spent a week programming a few songs into it, and I admit they sounded great, but when I came to the weekend, when I had to perform using it live, I turned it on to discover that the batteries ad died and that I'd lost EVERYTHING that I'd programmed for the whole week!....grrrrrrr
I also own a 15 yr old "Kawaii GB2 Session Trainer" and have never lost any 'self-programmed' songs....and it doean't even have batteries IN IT!
Yamaha should have done a much better job at asking live performers what they need to have in a unit like this, before building something that just goes 'half way'!!
