I have used this little module for about a year now. I'm getting another as a back up. Hudge range of possibilities adding subtleties to your horn sounds.

Yamaha continues to confuse SoundiusXG and V/A Synthesis. This card is less than a VL70m but better than EX5 or Korg Z1 acoustic models

The theory behind the VL is great and synth programmers will have fun with it. Now that I also need to gig, the VL is of no use to me. The sounds are neither authentic or interesting enough to add enough worth to keep it in my S80.
