Just flat out like this amp. It runs quietly, sound is audiophile quality, it's not too heavy, it sounds great though the Yamaha Club series 15's I run it through. Nothing sticks out to get snapped off. Essentially idiot proof. Been playing for 30 years, and have used everything- Peavey, Nady, Crown, Ampeg... Can't think of an amp I'd rather have for club work, or, if you had enough of them, for just about anything else. Like others have said, I'd take two of these over one of them anyday.

I don't see the need for ever replacing these. (I have two...monitors and mains......may get a 3rd for bottoms someday....but I really don't need it!
Sound
The power is clear with nothing lacking in bottom or top. Handles multiple instruments and drums without loss in dynamics or clarity. Using Yamaha speakers. Excellent imaging in stereo with a Mackie board.
Quality
It appears to be manufactured under very high standards. (Mine was made in China but looks like it was made in Japan. (i.e. much better than we can do it here in the USA). (if it weren't for import duties this would probably only cost about $50.00.....But you can thank Bush for that and the cost of lumber!
Value
For $100.00 a watt (typical national price...although there ARE a couple places cheaper if you look real hard......this is the best. If you can't go the extra $1000.00 plus....this is an amp that should perform for many years without regret or ever needing to upgrade.
Manufacturer Support
You can actually reach a Yamaha representative on the phone!! They even have people that know what you are talking about! I have had to replace Speakers parts one time and another time had some Yamaha keyboard problems and they were very helpful. The only real problem with Yamaha service is that they are only in California so the cost of parts transportation screws you if it is heavy or you ever needed to return something!
The Wow Factor
Looks as good as it performs. And it is excellent.

look if you got a grip of cash don,t even look at this man up and get a crown IT or macro tech 2402 or a qsc plx 3402 or better yet a rmx 5050 but even if you have a grip of cash the yamaha will be as good as long as you dont need to run a 2 ohm load. you can get 2 yamahas for the price of the qsc plx 3402. buy the 2 instead of just 1 and run them in bridge mono now your spl has increased smart move .
Sound
wow it has a ton of power you wont be dissapointed. i use this amp with the yamaha v club s2151v speakers and a roland v pro td20 drum kit my sound is dope.
Features
I wish this amp could handle 2 ohm loads then it would be even better.
Quality
built nice no complaints
Value
this people is where yamaha meets peavey and i love peavey but this amp is sure to dominate for years to come or untill peavey makes a better one for the dough . remember yamaha knows pro audio enough said.
Manufacturer Support
never needed any so far
The Wow Factor
