Nice sound, very lightweight. I use it in conjunction with a Roland VR-09. Perfect for gigging. I play it through a 300 watt Ashdown bass amp.

This is a great dedicated piano keyboard for those just starting and for those experienced and in need of a practice piano. There's features on here that you don't really find on keyboard on this price end. I fell that Yamaha did an amazing job at stuffing this in for the budget it's on. You get Piano sized and styled keys instead of the usual keyboard keys that recess on the bottom. These are full keys just not weighted. You get that nice red piano felt strip in the back which I believe is cosmetic but it looks great. The keyboard is huge as you get 76 keys which is unheard of as usually you get stuffed with only 61 keys. It has a great plus with an included music stand. The instrument selection. You get 2 grand pianos, 2 electric pianos, 2 Organs, an Orchestra set and Clavichord I believe. In total you have about 8 sounds. You also have the ability to record your playing and do a playback. These are some really nice features for a keyboard like this and the sounds it comes with actually sound really good. I have a bit of a complaint though and that's that I feel the 2 piano's it comes with aren't that distinctive. Perhaps Piano 1 should of been a Grand piano and Piano 2 an upright Piano. It would of also been nice to have more than 4 Pianos like at least 10. If not the full Piano sets from the Motif series. It is however a very nice keyboard despite it's limited sounds which I think is a drawback for people that want more out of the keyboard.I find it to be perfect for "older" players that don't want to deal with a bunch of modern keyboard tech. You really can just fire it up and get into it and that's served it's purpose for me. I would recommend this for anyone that wants a nice piano to practice or learn to play on over a basic keyboard because it sets you up with the piano feel right out the box.

"Inaccurate weight"

Specs say 12 pounds when it is actually 16 pounds. As a disabled person, this is painfully heavy. Otherwise it is a good quality piano for an able bodied musician.

Musical Background:

Played piano for several years and write my own music

Musical Style:

I write all my own music and play in a public setting at least twice a week.
