"Great Amp, but"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This amp is great, I upgraded from Behringer gear to Yamaha because of its reliability, gutsy loud amp use this in a 5 piece band and put through vocals, my Roland TD15k drums and miked guitars, plenty of grunt for small to medium sized venues. Only wish Yamaha would have put amp out and in plugs to EQ the full mix, bummer. Other than that, if your looking for this sort of amp for your band, go for it you wont be disappointed.

"very nice 'working mans' board"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Features
the reverb is not bad, but not near like an external lexicon or some other unit.
Ease of Use
The manual is very clear. The on board eq is one of the only issues with this board. It is not wide enough, and one little bump on the button makes a big difference. I am going to try to run an external eq

As long as it does not blow on my face during a Gig! If this happens I am going to switch to Allen and Heath.
Sound
Recently I swithched from Behringer Powered Mixer to EMX5016CF not becasues Behringer did not meet all my demands but because Yamaha incorporated the features and sound quality that best fit the needs of the style of Music (Classic Indian Instruments) Yamaha provides. So far I am really satisfied by the results.
Features
Although it has all the necessary features a band would need, however, this model should have provided seperate knobs for controling built in amplifiers. I just cannot use one for Stage Monitors, I have to use either the power monitors or seperate amp for stage monitors for volume control.
Ease of Use
There is always room for clearer (Mixing for Dummies)and more easy to understand with proper illustrations/instructions in terms of using all its feature to its maximum capacity.
Quality
No issues to report thus far!
Value
Yes!
Manufacturer Support
Not sure about the company that made the product. Zzounds is a worth trying as they beat the price of any realistic offer that is out there.
The Wow Factor
I am more of a practical person, therefore my opinion may not be of any value in relation to its sex appeal. Looks like a typical mixer to me!

I bought this off of zZounds Play as you Pay program which gave me the opportunity to experience this amazing powered mixer! Not only it's power that stands out but it's very user friendly. I've used many mixers over the years and the EXM5016CF surpasses them all!
Sound
Great clear crisp sound. Massive power and lot of extras!

"The best powered mixer on the market!!"

I am very satisfied. I am buying a second one after having the first for 4 years of trouble free service.
Features
Only wish it had a larger band graphic equalizer.
Quality
Been running it 3-5 nights a week with a mobile DJ and Karaoke rig and have never had an issue with it in 4 years.. It holds up well to abuse.
Value
It would always be nice to get stuff cheaper than it's for sale for, so until it's free it's still expensive!!
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to deal with them because I've never had a problem.
The Wow Factor
Yes I like it.

"Waist of your Money"

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Very disapointed. I bought it and it sounded bad -- effects are losy and EQ is limmited. Sounded great on the web page. Features sounded nice. I connected it to my SB122 and ZX1 EV's and the sound was FLAT. Can not compare to my Mackie mixer. I returned it.
Features
Lots of features that sound great. Feedback reducer worked ok, but limmited on memory
Ease of Use
not too complicated, although EQ is lousy
Quality
Did not jave it long enough
Value
Not Woth the money
