Great little combo. Exactly as loud as I need it. Absolutely clean all the way up, I couldn't make it distort, even overdriving with a ME50-b, and the actual overdrive fx sound great, no extraneous amp distortion. No noise at low volumes either. Nice sounding tone stack.. Also - surprisingly light weight and feels like solid construction. This is NOT the amp you want for your bar band, but I suspect that the 150 watt/1-15 version would do nicely for small to mid size clubs with PA support.

As advertised this amp does not distort, and has absolutely no 'white noise' even w/ the volume all the way up! But the twist is this: if you play slap/funk bass sessions as well then that's when the amp can distort or revert to it's 'cut off' overload feature... granted this is when the volume is three quarters to all the way up. This isn't a big deal to me because as I've learned the amp and tweaked the control knobs this becomes lesser of an issue. Overall is a clean sounding, deep rich bass emitting, solid made amp. For $299 I'm happy w/ the purchase.
